Thank you so much for sharing this. It is so amazing how they embraced a very difficult situation and just enjoyed each and everyday of Elliot’s life. I know that many people would have focused on the negative and not looked at the positive. They were able to share their love and that is a very special thing! In In my heart I was hoping to hear that he had beat all odds and was 10 now. In my head I knew that it would not end that way! Thank you again for sharing!

I will tell you that this is MIRACLE! Medically speaking this child should not have managed to make it through day one. What a fantastic accomplishment and god bless those parents who stuck by Elliot the entire 99 days!

How inspirational this truly is! We lost an infant at 38 weeks and it was the hardest thing we have ever had to go through. I remember people telling me that it is not a big deal because at least we did not get to know him. I know that people meant to be consoling but it was hurtful. I am so happy that this family had an opportunity to know their son and celebrate his short, yet meaningful life.

I cannot stop crying! Partly because this is such a story of true unconditional love, and for my own personal reasons as well. I pray that this family will eventually have a child that they can share a lifetime of joy with! It is obvious that they love unconditionally and that is what each and every child needs. If we could all love more wholly the world would be a more beautiful place.

A friend emailed this link to me this morning because she was so moved by this video. Do you know this family or were you also inspired by their courage? I will share this link with family and friends as well!

No, we do not know this family personally but, we think you’ll agree, one does not need to know them feel moved and inspired by their very brave story.
